2023: After defeat, Bello donates Abuja campaign office to Tinubu
Having suffered defeat in the just concluded All Progressives Congress presidential primary election, Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has donated his campaign office to Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, winner of the election.
It is recalled that Bello claimed to have 26 million electorate waiting to vote him into office as President in 2023, but ended up scoring 47 votes during the primary, thereby taking fifth position.
The APC presidential flagbearer had visited Yahaya Bello in Abuja, where Kogi governor announced the donation of his campaign office to him on Friday.
Tinubu and the former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole were going round presidential aspirants on reconciliatory moves after the primary election.
Expressing his delight, Senator Tinubu promised to unite the APC and the nation. He thanked Bello for his understanding.
