Niger: Labour Chairman, Com. Garba charges youths to be peaceful at all times

Youths in Shiroro Local Government Area in Niger state, have been charged to always live in peace among themselves for the over all development of the area.

The Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress in Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba gave the charge while receiving some youths who paid him a solidarity visit in his Labour House office in Minna Tuesday.
He said, no meaningful development would be achieved in an atmosphere ridden with rancour and uncertainty, stressing the need for them to continue to conduct themselves with all the needed decorum.

According to the NLC Chairman, peaceful co-existence among the people of Shiroro Local Government cannot be over emphasized, urging the youths to avoid any act that is inimical to the peace and progress of the the people of the area.

He noted that as the country and the state is transiting to another round of democracy, the need for them to conduct themselves in peaceful and harmonious co-existence is paramount, warning that they should stay clear o political rancour.

While appreciating them for taking their tight schedule to visit him, Comrade Yakubu Garba assured them of his unflinching support at all times in the area of their educational and human development that will improve their wellbeings.

He then appealed to them to always engage themselves in meaningful venture that make them self-reliant.

Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation, Alhaji Isah Hashimu, said the visit was aimed at appreciating the NLC chairman for his kind gestures for the development of Shiroro and its environs.

He stated that the people of Shiroro Local Government particularly the youths will continue to remain greateful to him for his untiring efforts in alleviating the plight of the people for his kind and humanitarian gestures that has direct bearings on the people.

He mentioned that youths in the area will rally round him towards achieving his goals in any endeavours that will spur him to add value to the development and progress of the people of Shiroro Local Government.

Alhaji Hashimu enjoined him not to be dettered in his benevolence and his humane and philantrophical gestures to the less privileges in Shiroro and the society in general, adding that Allah SWT will continue to give him more strength to impact on the wellbeing of the people at all times.
