Pastor Dabwan clinches NNPP Plateau governorship ticket
Pastor Alfred Dabwam has clinched the New Nigeria Peoples Party ticket to run for Governor of Plateau State in the 2023 general elections.
At the primary election held in Jos, the 124 delegates unanimously affirmed Dabwam as the sole candidate in the presence of INEC officials, security personnel and supporters of the party.
In his acceptance speech, Pastor Dabwam said as a trained security expert, he will deploy technology to ensure that the people of the state sleep with their two eyes closed thereby attracting investors to the state.
He said he has worked out a plan to supply 500 megawatts of electricity to the state in order to encourage the establishment of companies which will boost employment for the teeming youths in the State.
The NNPP Gubernatorial candidate also said he will lay emphasis on staff welfare, education, Agriculture and solid minerals among others.
The Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Plateau State, Comrade Tokji Mandim said they will work together with Plateau people to bring on board Plateau project just as it was done in 2015.
He noted that NNPP is the only alternative political party that can change Plateau for progress.
Mandim described the governorship condition as a man who has the fear of God and that his party will win from the Presidency down to the state level.
He said six aspirants purchased the nomination and express of interest form of the NNPC to contest for the governorship election but five were disqualified, leaving Alfred Dabwan as the sole candidate.
