Hon. Bagos frowns at renewed killings within his constituency
The member representing Jos South/ Jos East Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Anti-Corruption, Hon. Dachung Bagos has frowned over the renewed attacks on his constituents which resulted in the killing of one Stephen Gyang aged 24 years old while Issac Gyang and Rev. Davou Ishaya John are currently in a critical condition at the hospital.
Bagos in a press statement signed and issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Danja Dafwam Yakubu described the attack which took place at about 8pm on 4th June 2022 by suspected herdsmen in Chaha village of Vwang District, Jos South Local government of Plateau state was unprovoked and carefully orchestrated and executed.
The Federal lawmaker while decrying the spate of attacks within his constituency calls on the Federal and Plateau State governments to as a matter of urgency, increase the security vigilance in the area and other areas within his constituency.
The member sympathized with the family of the deceased victim of the attack and prayed for the repose of his soul.
Bagos also prayed for the quick recovery of those recuperating in the hospitals from the attack. He called on the governments at all levels to come to the aid of the victims in the hospitals by ameliorating their bills.
He called on his constituents to be more vigilant and report suspicious activities of dare devil criminals to the security agencies and desist from taking the law into their hands.
