Again, a member of the Vigilante was on Saturday killed and his corpse set ablaze in Lugbe area in Abuja Municipal Area Council for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad.
The alleged blasphemer was killed at the Timber market around fruit market close to the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) estate around 1pm.
Eyewitness confirmed that the victim was a Muslim who has been insulting the Prophet. They claimed that the last time the deceased insulted the Prophet was the midnight of Saturday.
When tension as a result of the planned mob attack was building-up, the deceased took refuge in the vigilante office in the market, but the mob who were said to be over 200 over powered the vigilante operatives, killed and set him ablaze.
