The Kogi State women leader of Governor Yahaya Bello Presidential campaign organisation, Hon. Mrs Blessing Aishat Ekele has congratulated the winners of the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections, describing their victory as well deserved and a triumph of democracy.

The women leader who is the current Vice chairman of Olamaboro Local Government in the State commended the party members who lost out in the party primary elections in House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate for rare show of sportsmanship, advising them to cooperate with the party to prosecute the forthcoming election to ensure a rousing victory at the polls.

“We stand by you all that failed to achieve your ambition of carrying the party flag in the 2023 general election this time. Since political engineering is a continuos process, ambition not realised now can be a blessing tomorrow.

“We therefore offer hands of good fellowship to you all for a better working relationship for our party to beat the rest to the rear in the next election.

“And for you all that got the party flag, note that it’s not by efforts, but by the will of Almighty God, so, try to reach out to those that lost out in the party primaries for our party to remain very strong at the polls”, she said.

The APC governorship Aspirant in the last gubernatorial election in the state enjoined delegates to vote for governor Yahaya Bello, including young ladies and women who are not delegates to drum support for his Presidential ambition for him to clinch victory in the party’s presidential primary election and become its standard bearer in the next Presidential election.

“His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello’s principle or policy of inclusiveness in his administration is unique. Women and young ladies have benefited and are still benefiting in the state.

“A drum for his ambition or a vote for him will make him to translate this rare feature to the national level for the voice of young ladies and women to be heard loud and clear. Let us rise in unison and push or pull our governor to the top”, she said.
