My victory is a threat to PDP, says APC Jos North-West Assembly candidate

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC for Jos North-West Plateau State House of Assembly Mr Sunday Mark says his victory and emerging winner of the primaries of the APC has become a serious threat and nightmare for the PDP and every other candidate that will contest with him ahead of the 2023 elections.

Mark who has been a vibrant Youth, Social worker and community leader in Jos North-West Constituency commended President Muhammadu Buhari for signing into law the bill “Not Too Young To Run” which has given an opportunity for Youths like him to participate in an election.

The candidate while speaking with journalists in Jos, said he does not believe that Jos North-west is a stronghold of the PDP, that APC has its strategy to take over power from the PDP in Jos North-West.

It would be recalled that during the 2019 general election, the candidate of the PDP, Hon. Esther Simi Dusu was elected to represent the Constituency in the State Assembly.

However Mark said his major focus will be development, community development, and human development, stating that as a young man who has been a leader in his community, he will be able to identify the problems and challenges of the youths, women and the entire community.

He noted that it is time for the youth who are the leaders of tomorrow to take over power from their grandfathers who are still ruling adding that the youth with contemporary ideas are being pushed to the ground.

The APC Candidate said he is coming to bring the contemporary ideas he has with the wealth of experience acquired as a social worker and a humanitarian and disaster response person to make a difference in Jos North West.
