The State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP in Plateau State Comrade Tokji Mandim says the party will take advantage of imposition of candidates crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress, APC and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to take over power in Plateau State come 2023.

He said both the ruling APC and the PDP have failed Nigerians woefully from the top to the bottom and the electorate will reject them come 2023.

Change of Name

The NNPP Chairman stated this at the weekend while speaking with journalists at the party office Jos, saying, the party is well prepared to conduct free, fair and credible primaries not imposition of candidates like APC and PDP did.

“The NNPP in Plateau State will not discriminate against aspirants, we will provide a level playing ground for all aspirants to participate without any imposition like APC and PDP did, and surely we will present the best candidates for Governorship, Senate, House of Reps and State Assembly to take over Plateau State come 2023”.

The Chairman added that the NNPP’s priority is to salvage Plateau State and Nigeria from its present insecurity, economic hardship and also tackle the welfare of the youth and women.

“We will displaced APC and PDP to become internally Displaced Parties in Plateau because they have destroyed their parties with imposition and they are completely failures from top to bottom”

Comrade Mandim said the government of NNPP will focus on developing tourism to salvage the state from being permanently a civil service state depending on federal allocation every month.

He disclosed that NNPP as a party is dominated by the youths and women not as APC and PDP who parades old people as their candidates all the times.

He assured that the NNPP will participate fully in the 2023 general election, saying that the party already have six aspirants for governorship in Plateau and nine Senatorial aspirants for Northern, Central and Southern Senatorial Zones which primaries will be conducted within the week.
