2023: NNPP working to wrestle power from corrupt, inept APC administration – Niger Chairman, Damisa
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), is prepared to take over power from the rulling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023, the Niger State Chairman of the party, Hon. Garba Maman Damisa has vowed.
He stated that NNPP will serve as alternative party that will send the leadership of the APC packing from the presidential Villa and States that are under the leadership of the party.
Addressing journalists at the party Secretariat in Minna, during the week, Hon Garba Damisa, pointed out that NNPP is prepared to take over the leadership of the country at the general election in 2023.
“We in the NNPP, we have all it required to take over the leadership of this great country from the maladministration of the APC in the last 7 years.
This is the goverment that claimed to be fighting corruption and the corruption under his watch is so monumental. He promised Nigerians that he will provide them with security and secure the country.
But you can see the security challenges on Kaduna, Abuja High way onn daily basis. The North West and North Central and some parts of the country is under siege. So what has the APC goverment has to show for Nigerians inthe last 7 years of the administration” he queried.
According to the NNPP chairman, Nigerians as people have now realized that they made a wrong choice in voting the APC into office with the assurance that they will be secured and protected under the leadership of the party, stressing that the NNPP will definitely be the only party that will take Nigerians out of the present shackle of poverty and insecurity that is pavading the county.
Reiterating the party’s commitment to better the lots and well being of the citizens, Hon. Damisa assured that with the calber of people that NNPP is parading in all elective post across the country,” we are ready to wrestle power from the government of APC across the country come 2023″.
Already, he said that NNPP in Niger State has six persons aspiring the governorship position and other elective position in the state with assurance that ” we are taking over the goverment house in Niger State and the presidential Villa in Abuja in 2023.”
The NNPP Chairman was of the view that the APC goverment in Niger State has failed in the provision of infrastructural development to the people of the state insisting that the APC led administration has nothing to offer ” and NNPP like I said, will chase the APC administration out of government house and Aso Villa come 2023″, he boasted.
