Katsina governor tells public servants to pursue Islamic knowledge
Katsina State governor, Alhaji Aminu Masari has admonished public servants occupying offices to vigorously pursue Islamic knowledge.
He said the knowledge of Islamic knowledge will enable them to provide good leadership while in office.
Masari spoke in his address to heads of government agencies, Permanent Secretaries and judicial officers led by the State Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubkr on a traditional sallah homage at govt house, but which was obtained by CAPITAL POST in Abuja on Saturday.
He lamented the nonchalant attitude of public officers despite their required commitment to deliver their responsibilities.
Masari reminded the public officers that leadership comes with responsibilities, stressing that all leaders will account for their stewardship on the judgement day.
The governor called for prayers ahead of 2023 general election for a peaceful conduct of elections.
Earlier the leader of the delegation, Justice Musa Danladi Abubkr said the visit was to pay the usual traditional sallah homage after the one month Ramadan fast.
Justice Musa Danladi assured that the lessons of the Ramada, the Tafsir and their supplications for the whole month will help them in renewing their commitment in service delivery.
