VP Osinbajo, Tinubu, other presidential aspirants from South West meeting in Lagos [PHOTO]

The Vice President, Professional Yemi Osinbajo, the National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and other presidential aspirants are meeting in Lagos.

The meeting on Friday which is holding right into the night was at the instance of the National Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande.

The VP and Tinubu took time to greet with handshakes. The meeting is the first of its kind since both leaders declared their intentions to contest the 2023 Presidency.

Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi who has declared to contest was also present in the meeting. Fayemi is the Chairman of Nigerian governors forum and will finish his second term of office in 2023.

The meeting which is holding at the Lagos house is well surrounded by armed security agents.

The meeting is holding amidst rumours of a strong rift between the VP and his former godfather over the 2023 Presidential Ticket of the ruling party.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu, The House of Reps Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila amongst others were also present at the meeting.
