Top Boko Haram Commander, Ngulde shot dead
Nigerian Soldiers in fierce battle against Boko Haram terrorists on Wednesday killed a notorious top Boko Haram Commander, Adamu Ngulde.
With the killing of the terrorists Commander, Nigeria troops fighting Boko Haram terrorists and Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) are having upper hands.
Sources close to the operation revealed that Adamu Ngulde was killed in clearance operation, where the criminal elements continue to suffer heavy casualties in past weeks.
It was further revealed that 24 Boko Haram and ISWAP camps have been cleared in Sambisa forest.
Troops of the 402 Special Forces Brigade, comprising of 134, 198 and 199 Special Forces Battalions, under the Operation Hadin Kai’s second phase of Desert Sanity, cleared the insurgents’ camps in the axis of Bama Local Government Area (LGA).
It was also stated that the special operations led to the killing of scores of fighters of Boko Haram and ISWAP, including Commander Adamu Ngulde.
The camps included those at Mantari, Gapchari, Ngalmari, Malumbori, Kyautari, Malmatari, Kanari, Kajimari, Ngauramari and Yusufari among others.
Others are: Karimi, Jaltawa, Bula Galda, Yale, Bone, Shigabaja, Dole, Chingori, Ukcha, Dalbo Jibrin, Dagumba Zainabe, Dagumba Shettimari, Yerimari and Amchile
The firepower of the soldiers was heavy thereby making several Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters to surrender to troops, according to impeccable source.
Other camps cleared included those at Mantari, Gapchari, Ngalmari, Malumbori, Kyautari, Malmatari, Kanari, Kajimari, Ngauramari and Yusufari among others.
