2023: Osinbajo visits Niger, snubs journalists after waiting for four hours

Journalists that turned out waiting to interview the Vice president and the presidential aspirant under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), Prof. Yemi Osibanjo went home disappointed as he snubbed them.

The Vice President who sneaked into Minna, the Niger State capital with the intention to address the delegates at the party Secretariat instead, met with governor Abubakar Sani Bello and the State Chairman of APC Hon. Zakari Haliru Jikantoro at close door meeting which lasted for over four hours.

Prof. Yemi Osibanjo and his entourage drove into the presidential lodge behind goverment house where he met with the governor. The Vice president’s visit to Minna may not be unconnected to his presidential aspiration in 2023.

CAPITAL POST however, learnt that Although, a new date would be formally announced for his visit to address the APC delegates ahead of the party presidential delegates Congress.
