Hon. Bagos bags ECWA Advocate of Youth Empowerment Award
Deputy Chairman House Committee on Anti-corruption and member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency of Plateau State, Hon. Dachung Musa Bags has bagged an award of Advocate of Youth Empowerment and Church growth by the Men International Fellowship of the
Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA)
The award was presented to him and other awardees during the ECWA Men Fellowship International Conference Jos, 2022 held at Kerker ECWA Women Fellowship Conference Ground, Jos East Plateau State on Thursday.
While presenting the award, ECWA Vice President, Rev Sunday Ajise said the award was in appreciation of his contributions towards youth empowerment and church growth, and also in recognition of his commitment to promoting Peace, harmony and unity in his Constituency, Plateau State and the country at large.
Shortly after receiving the award, Hon. Bagos expressed delight that his contributions to the development and unity in his constituency and the church did not go unnoticed, saying the recognition has humbled him and will make him to do more in the vineyard of God.
He pledged as a Representative of his people to empower more youths in his Constituency as well as contribute to church growth and development.
Recalling that recently the Jos East Traditional Council had conferred on him a chieftaincy titled as the “Talban of Shere” he said the fact that the recognition was from the Church and traditional council was a plus and a challenge for him to do more in his Constituency.
Others honoured by the ECWA church to include; The Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Dr Manaseeh Daniel Jatau as the “Advocate of Justice”, Gen. Martin Luther Agwai (Rtd) CFR as the “Nation Builder and Church Developer”, Senator Istifanus Dung Gyang as the”promoter of theological Education and Missions”, The Adagwom Izere of Izere nation, HRH Rev. (Dr.) Isaac Azi Wakili as the “Royal Ambassador of Christ”, and Gen. T. Y Danjuma as the “Nation Builder and Elder statesman” amongst others.
