While narrating the ugly incident during the visit of the Senator, Hon Agah said it is evident that he was the target of the ambush, but by the mercy of God, escaped narrowly, passing through a rain of high caliber gunshots from the attackers, a short distance from Jebbu Bassa on his way back home after a Thank -You -Tour of his constituency.

Senator Gyang lamented the state of insecurity in the nation which has made life and living for citizens uncertain, unpredictable, and fearful.

The Senator expressed his displeasure and frustration at the inability of the government to live up to its primary responsibility of providing security and safety to law-abiding citizens and communities across the country Plateau state in particular.

He submits that excuses by the government are no longer tenable as the National Assembly has brought resolution upon resolution on the need for decisive action including the supplementary appropriation to equip the armed forces to effectively combat terrorism and banditry yet the results are appalling as the attacks and killings are persisting and continuing in even worse dimensions.

The Senator also visited the families of the two persons killed and prayed God to grant their souls eternal rest.
