2023: My governorship ambition is to better conditions of Niger people – Liman

A frontline Governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Niger State, Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi has said that his mission to vie for the governorship position is to better the lots of people with meaningful development that will have direct bearings on the people.

He stated that Niger state has suffered monumental neglect in the last seven years, assuring that if voted in to the exalted position in 2023, he will change the narrative for the betterment of the people of the state.

Addressing the party delegates from the Eastern Senatorial district of the state at the PDP Secretariat in Minna, Monday, Liman Kantigi requested the party delegates to vote wisely at the party Congress.

He explained that some mischief makers in the state are peddling rumours that he has some issues with the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), describing such rumours as laughable, adding that those peddling the rumours were out to cast unnecessary aspersion for their selfish motives.

He urged the party supporters in Niger State to disregard those rumours, stressing that he has no any issue with the antigraft agency, stressing he was ready to challenge those peddling those rumours at any time.

He noted that he is not out to join issue with any, but his aim, if elected in 2023 is to transform the state to an enviable state that will be a pride of all.

Speaking on his physical challenge, the governorship hopeful disclosed that his physical challenge will never be an issue that will stop him from improving the well beings of the people of the state.

Alhaji Liman Kantigi, also used the forum and donates one milio naira each to four local government areas internally displaced persons camp (IDP), in Paikoro, Rafi, Munya and Shiroro local government areas.
