Breaking: Nigeria Army Base in Borno under ISWAP attack

Reports emanating from Borno State indicated that the Nigerian army Base
which is located at the outskirt of Maiduguri, about 7km away is under attack by fighters of ISWAP terrorists.

Fighters of Islamic State of West African Province formerly known as Jamā’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād, are currently attacking the Forward Operational Base (FOB) in Molai, Borno State.

SaharaReporters gathered that the insurgents invaded the town after iftar, the meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during Ramadan, shooting sporadically as residents of the community fled into the forest for safety.

They came in about 10 gun trucks and are presently engaging the military formation in the community.
