“The party will not discriminate against new members who intend to contest political offices during the 2023 electioneering”, Tokji said.

The NNPP Chair stated this in Jos, during an interview with journalists, shortly after being inaugurated as Plateau State Chairman.

Mandim who scored 607 votes out of the 1200 accredited delegates to defeat four others who contested the NNPP State party chairmanship with him, said he will run an open door policy aimed at uniting the party ahead of 2023.

He assured that the NNPP will participate fully in the 2023 general election, saying that the party already have three aspirants, including the former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, who is currently vying for President to replace President Muhammadu Buhari.

“NNPP’s priority is to salvage Nigeria from its present insecurity, economic hardship and also tackle the welfare of the youth and women”.
