Breaking: 2023: Osinbajo set to declare presidential race at short notice

Strong indications have emerged on Tuesday that Nigeria’s Vice President and Professor of law, Yemi Osinbajo will declare on Thursday officially.

He is set to declare on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Osinbajo has been under pressure by Nigerians to throw his hat into the ring, to contest.

He has neither denied contesting nor shown interest amid calls by citizens, especially businessmen, and political groups.

Source close to the Vice President’s office confirmed on Tuesday that Thursday’s planned declaration, though at short notice was sancrosanct.

His declaration will clear doubts and counter claims whether he will contest against his political godfather, and the National leader of APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu or not.
