2023: Jang’s son picks Reps nomination form

The eldest son of a former Plateau State Governor, Sen. Jonah Jang, Hon. Pam Jang has on Tuesday presented by his League of Friends with PDP House of Reps nomination form to contest Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency Seat Come 2023.

The development is coming barely few weeks after the present House Reps member representing the Federal Constituency, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos was equally presented with nomination form to re-contest the House of Reps seat during the 2023 elections.

Leader of the League of Friends of Hon. Pam Jang, Dr. Dagwom Dang while presenting the Nomination and Expression of interest form in Jos on Tuesday said Pam has several years demonstrate capacity in leadership and because of his good qualities the league of friends contribute and purchased the House of Reps ticket for him to contest 2023.

Also Speaking Mr Dauda Dinju from Jos South and Mr Usman Magaji from Jos East both described Hon. Pam Jang as a good leader who will effectively represent the Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, saying they will do their best to ensure his victory come 2023.

Director General of the Campaigns, for the Friends Hon. Itse Azi Ajiji disclose that the friend have agreed to gather funds for the campaigns to ensure the success of the election.

Hon. Jang while responding after receiving the Nomination form expressed his sincerely appreciation to all league of friends for the honour, said he consider the gesture as a privilege.

“Our Great Party leaders from Jos East and Jos South, my friends and Supporters, It is a common fact that our People are in dear need of genuine and effective representation in the Green Chambers that Should be defined by results not attributes and making speeches or being liked.

“As I humbly accept this clarion call to save my great people of Jos East/ Jos South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly I wish to state clearly that I believe in the concept of effective representation and I do not see this contest as a do or die affairs because leadership and Power comes from God.

“I know that the work of a legislator is not an easy one considering the present state of the Nation and a Constituency like ours in Jos East/ Jos South, but am confident that by the grace of God we will do our best.

“It is my sincerely prayers that God Almighty who has started this Good work will see it to completion in Jesus Name”, He said.
