The Borno State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Ali Bukar Dalori has inaugurated the newly elected State Executive Council members of the party as the party prepares itself ahead of the party’s national convention, for Saturday, 26th, 2022 national convention in abuja.
Inaugurating the New State Executive Council, the state Chairman, Hon Ali Dalori said “the Borno State APC is solidly behind the decision of the national body of the party..”
“Whoever the party leader, President Muhammadu Buhari said, it is the position of the Borno state. It will be the position of the Borno APC”. We have just hold the inauguration of the State Executive Council of the party. This is the day we have been waiting.
“We have 17 members out of the 36 sworn Exco members including the ex-officio members as State Working Committee. The party is set for politicking and by the grace of God APC will not only clinch all positions in the state but the Presidential position come 2023 general election”, Hon Dalori said
Hon. Dalori who is also the Chairman of APC Chairmen Forum said, “I want use this opportunity to commend Governor Zulum for leading APC in the state to greater heights and successes at the state and national levels and in unity. The APC in the state have never had any crack, APC in Borno is one and intact.
“The team we just inaugurated, are hard working members and politicians who are committed party members that are poised to deliver all the times towards moving the party forward and I am optimistic that sky is our limit with these calibre of Executive members of the party.”, Ali said
The Chairman while commending Governor Zulum for his purposeful leadership, he said ” we the entire APC members in the state are happy with Zulum and will continue to tap from his wisdom to move the party and the state at large forward.”
He therefore, urged the newly inaugurated executive state council members to carry along all party members along, irrespective of tribal or religious background while charging all the newly sworn members to always be in office at all times to work, especially, the 17 state working committee members..
Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated executives, the Secretary of the partly, Hon. Bello Ayuba said “I want use this opportunity to first, thank God for making us witness today’s occasion and Governor for supporting the APC in the state”.
He assured all party stakeholders in the state that the EXCO will continue to work together in the overall interest of all the stakeholders.
Oaths of office and allegiance were administered by Barrister Mohammed Umblu Esq of L.O. Santa Plus Cambers Maiduguri.
