Businessman urges CBN governor to contest for president in 2023

A business tycoon in Plateau State, Alhaji Mu’azu Sani has on Saturday called on Dr Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to contest for the 2023 Presidency.

Alhaji Sani, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Excellent Modern Merchants Nigeria Ltd, made the call at a press conference on Saturday in Jos.

According to him, Emefiele had done well toward the economic recovery drive of the nation through various programmes he introduced as CBN governor.

He added that the economic expert would not only improve the economy of the nation, but would unite all sections of the country.

“The purpose of this gathering is to publicly tell Nigerians that among its good sons and daughters, is Godwin Emefiele, who believes in the unity and prosperity of this great nation.

“He is blessed with wisdom and ability to initiate and implement policies that will sustain and strengthen the economy of Nigeria.

“He is physically and academically fit to lead this nation in 2023; he will ensure proper continuation of the standard economic plan for better Nigeria

“So, my clients and I call on him to contest the for the president of this nation”he said
