APC inaugurates Sub-Commitees for National Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC on Wednesday inaugurated Chairmen and Secretaries of sub-committees for the March 26, National Convention.

The inauguration exercise was performed by the Acting Chairman of CECPC and Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello.

Recall that Bello replaced his predecessor and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni on Monday.

Governor Bello said the party considered the sub-committee members worthy of high repute, hence, their nomination.

The Chairman, who said the convention date is sacrosanct, explained that the new panels are being reduced to a manageable size for effective delivery.

Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who spoke on behalf of members of the sub-committee appreciated the party for the opportunity to serve and assured that the sub-committee will not disappoint the party.

“We want to thank this great party for yet again giving us an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the party.

“This is an assignment that many have looked forward to for a long time, we want to commit all our strength and wisdom to accomplish so that our party can be in public position, to go into the elections ready to deliver to the good people of Nigeria and to the members of our party who have been working hard to this point.

“We are fully ready and committed to deliver on behalf of the Caretaker extraordinary convention planning Committee” he added.
