Breaking: APC crisis: Bello takes over party as National Chairman

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s crisis deepened Monday as the Executive governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Bello has taken over the National Secretariat as the new National Chairman.

The governor has made good his vow that he will occupy the Secretariat and right now, CAPITAL POST reports that he has taken over now.

The party has been enmeshed in leadership crisis over long delayed
Mai Mala Buni as Chairman of Caretaker Committee.

The most volatile APC was unable to convene its earlier scheduled National Convention in February and was rescheduled for March amid anger and lamentation of some notable members of the party.
