2023: Group vows to take ‘Osinbajo for President’ advocacy to grassroot

The North Central State Coordinator of Osibanjo Voluntary Movement (OVM), Prince Adamu Usman Laka, has assured that the movement will mobilise Nigerians to ensure the actualization of the aspiration of the Vice president Prof. Yemi Osibanjo at the 2023 presidential election.

He said the movement will continue to embark on aggressive advocacy to the grassroot to mobilize for the success of the Vice president at the presidential election come 2023.

Addressing journalists at a news briefing in Minna Friday, Prince Adamu Laka explained that Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has Nigerians at heart and he is committed to improve the wellbeings of the Nigerians with the needed democracy dividend that will stand the taste of time.

According to him, the Vice President has proved that he was so committed to the unification of the country and he has proved to that as the sitting Vice President, stressing the need for Nigerians to see reasons to ensure that he was voted as the next president in 2023.

“I want to say it loud and clear that for now, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has proved that he is committed to Nigeria project. He has displayed his commitment to the people of this country. And I’m saying that we should collectively join hands to ensure that he became our next President even as he hasn’t disappointed Nigerians so far.

Speaking further, Prince Laka explained that the OVM as an organization was a movement put in place by Nigerians of like minds to embark on grassroot mobilization to drive towards ensuring the success of the Vice president at the polls in 2023.

He pointed out that Prof. Yemi Osibanjo as a detribalised Nigerian if given the chance he will operate all inclusive administration that every Nigerians regardless of ethnic and religious inclination would be involved in taking the country to the enviable destination.

He admonished the citizens of the country to throw their support to the movement in moving the country forward, adding that with their collective support and prayers, Nigeria under Prof. Osibanjo would be a rally point to all and sundry.
