The National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Comrade Muhammed Suleiman has disclosed that he will mobilize youths across the country to protest the illegal impeachment of the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Mahadi Ali
CAPITAL POST recalled that the Zamfara State House of Assembly on Wednesday impeached the state’s deputy governor, Mahadi Ali after the House received the report of the investigative panel constituted by the state’s chief judge, Kulu Aliyu.
But Suleiman while reacting on the impeachment on Thursday in Jos, during the Peoples Democratic Party, Plateau State Chapter Mega Campaign Rally for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency described the impeachment as illegal.
He said the impeached Deputy Governor is one of the youth who was elected into power to grow, but regret the illegal impeachment, saying he will soon announce the date for the National protest against the illegal removal of the Ali.
“The youths are being encouraged to join politics, but we are disappointed that the same youths are victimized while in position, and we will not take it this time around, we will mobilise the entire youths to protest against the illegal impeachment of Zamfara Deputy Governor”.
He added that the APC government has failed the youths especially when students are back home due to ASUU strike because of government neglect to the education sector which is the hope of the youths.
