Following the impeachment of the Barrister Mahadi Aliyu on Wednesday by Zamfara State House of Assembly, Senator Hassan Nasiha has been nominated as replacement.
Twenty lawmakers out of twenty on Wednesday voted to remove the ez-deputy governor out of office.
The governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Bello Matawalle in a letter to the State Assembly sought for confirmation of the new Deputy governor, since Mahadi Aliyu has been impeached.
Senator Hassan is currently representing
Zamfara Central Senatorial district and he is the Chairman of Senate Committee on Ecology.
