Breaking: Aisha Buhari storms Senate to observe proceedings
The first lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari on Wednesday and her entourage have stormed the Nigeria Senate to observe proceedings in the upper legislative Chamber.
CAPITAL POST also sighted the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Tallen, and the Minister of Finance, Mrs ainab Ahmed in her entourage.
The first and her entourage was allowed entry into the red Chambers by the Sergeant-at-arms at about 12.00pm, after the Senate President, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim suspended the plenary in accordance with parliamentary rules to receive her.
The first lady was in the Senate to observe the laying of the report of the Constitution Review which the Committee headed by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege will lay today.
