The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Plateau State Chapter, Hon. Rufus Bature has advised members of the Tinubu Vanguard, Plateau state chapter to be honest with their principal.

He gave the advice in Jos on Tuesday when the Vanguard, one of the support groups of the Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential campaign organisation paid him courtesy visit at the Ewarewah party Secretariat.

Rufus represented by the Deputy Chairman of the party, Hon. James Dongchin Jang, the Chairman observed that quite often, members of such groups rather than work for the achievement of the goal of their principal, put their own personal interest first.

He said they should not be in a hurry to make it as it is only when their principal succeeds that they would reap greater benefit.

He commended members of the Tinubu Vanguard for mobilising support for Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a key leader and stakeholder of the APC in the country.

According to him, mobilising support for him is invariably mobilising support for the APC as a party.

He said the APC must work hard to win the presidency back to back hence the need to synergise at all levels.

While thanking them for the visit, he advised them to extend their activities to the grassroots and wish their principal success in his presidential bid.

Earlier, the State Coordinator of the Tinubu Vanguard, Ambassador Hoomsuk Alex Jibrin, said their visit to the APC secretariat was a mark of honour to the Chairman of the party and his exco.

He said they totally associate themselves with the vision Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State and Leader of the APC who is totally committed to the progress and wellbeing of our great country.

He said Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu has built blocks of unity across the country using his resources.

He said his belief in the cause of Nigeria and humanity is exceptional.

According to him their principal has always justified every mandate given to him and deserves to be elected as the next president of Nigeria in 2023.
