The embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari has been arrested after he was earlier declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Reports reaching CAPITAL POST said he was arrested by the Police alongside four others on Monday.
NDLEA earlier released evidence linking him with drug dealers and out of curiosity, Kyari had attempted to recover seized Cocaine from the agency by bribing its officials with $61,000.
The NDLEA further alledged that was a member of a notorious transnational drug ring spanning Brazil-Ethiopia-Nigeria.
Kyari is still on suspension by the Nigeria Police for taking money from a notorious international scammer, Hushpipi who is currently being detained in the United States of America.
He has also been indiçted and declared wanted by an American Court which the Nigerian government was considering his extradition.
