Jos South and Jos East Local Government Councils of Plateau State have allegedly diverted Medical equipment worth N50 million meant for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency intervention lobby by Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos to be distributed to all Primary Health centres in his Constituency.

The items are Hon. Bagos Constituency projects under the capital project for 2020 possibly made available to the two Local Government Councils.

The lawmaker had through his effort secured supplies through the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA), Abuja.

Investigation by CAPITAL POST in Jos revealed that the items were supplied since 2021 and diverted without distribution to the various primary health care centres in the Federal Constituency.

It would be recalled that the Agency had in July, 2021 written a letter to both the council chairmen to allow member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos access the medical equipment supplied to the two LGCs, but till now he is yet to know the whereabouts of the medical equipment.

It was reliably gathered that the lawmaker has made series of attempts for the Council chairmen to allow him access to the medical equipment in order to flag off for distribution, but wasn’t possible till date.
