Breaking: 2023: Senate Deputy Minority Leader defects to APC

Senate Minority leader and governorship aspirant in Taraba State, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has dumped People’s Democratic primary (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Bwacha who represents Taraba South Senatorial district was seen being handed an APC flag by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.

His defection is at the backdrop of claims that the lawmaker is contesting for the 2023 governorship of Taraba State.

Personal Assistant to President Buhari on Digital and New Media made this known in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.

Bwacha is a third time Senator in the upper legislative Chamber.
