Manchester United suspends Mason Greenwood amid sexual assault allegations
After getting exposed by his ex-girlfriend for sexual assault, Manchester United star striker, Mason Greenwood seems to have now faced the “consequences” with him being suspended from the first team training and involvement by the Red Devils until further notice.
“Mason Greenwood will not return to training or play matches until further notice,” reads the official statement from the Ralf Rangnick’s side who had earlier confirmed that investigations regarding the young England international’s alleged domestic abuse is already ongoing.
Earlier in the day, “disturbing” images of the 20 year old physically abusing his ex-girlfriend, Harriet Robson and forcing her into sleeping with him circulated online, leading to contract termination calls from several fans and journalists.
Meanwhile, the promising striker’s childish act has seen a number of the United players unfollow him on both Instagram and Twitter and hence, showing that his football career could be all but edging closer to a massive collapse.
