Kano: Parents of Hanifa killer flee homes amid fears of attack
Parents of the proprietor of Noble Kids Nursery and Primary School have fled their homes to a kid been attacked by angry persons who are sympathetic to the killing of a five year old Hanifa Abubakar.
The proprietor of the school, Abdulmalik Tanko, has been arrested and is currently in Police custody, but angy mob razed down the school when it was confirmed that he abducted late Hanifa, got ransom, yet killed and bury her remains in a shallow grave in the school premises.
Abdulmalik Tanko’s lives at Tudunwada and Tudun Murtala areas, and deserted the house over impending fears of attack.
Sources said they disappeared immediately the school was set on fire amid rumours that there was plan to attack the residence of the killer.
“No one will tell you exactly where they are. They have relocated to an unknown place. The mother has refused to collect his children and had somehow disowned him.”
The arson has made confessional statement that he kidnapped, killed and mutilated Hanifa.
The development triggered wild reactions with the governor of Kano State, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje vowed that he would death sentence if Court passed sentence on the suspect.
