Governor of Anambra State, Mr Willy Obiano and the governor-elect, Prof. Charles Soludo are fighting dirty over Soludo’s transition Committee list that didn’t capture Obiano’s men.
Trouble started when the governor-elect released the list of transition committee with the former Minister of Education, Dr. Obi Ezekwesili as Chairman.
The governor became infuriated as the list didn’t capture names sent to Soludo for consideration, CAPITAL POST learnt late Friday.
A source told our correspondent that Obiano sent names of some Chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the State to be involved in the transition Committee without Soludo honouring it.
On the other hand, APGA leadership in the State was also not happy with the development, as they wondered if Soludo did realize that he’s a product of the party.
The source could not confirm to CAPITAL POST if the presence of Oby Ezekwesili was the issue, but it was confirmed that she wasn’t a party person and didn’t really work for the party.
