President Muhammadu Buhari said, he would keep secret on the All Progressives Congress choice of aspirant for the 2023 presidential election so as not to be eliminated.
He said he is’nt interested in who becomes his successor, saying that such person can come from anywhere.
He stated this during an interview on Channels Television on Wednesday in Abuja.
But when pressed to speak on his choice of APC’s aspirant, he insisted on not disclosing the person. “No. I wouldn’t because he may be eliminated if I mention it. I better keep it secret.”
He however said, whoever that will succeed him can come from anywhere, adding that he would not like to go to Court to testify for anything.
“The only important thing (is) I made sure that on record, nobody should ask me to come and give any evidence in any court. Otherwise, whoever it is, he will be in trouble. Because all the important things are on record. I made sure about that. Important issues are all on record.”
