Breaking: Bello’s Chief of Staff’s mother kidnapped in Kogi

The mother of Chief of Staff to Kogi State State governor has been kidnapped in Okene in Kogi Central Senatorial district.

This is coming few weeks after Kogi Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Adewale Omofaye survived being kidnapped, but was shot on his leg by kidnappers after failed attempt.

CoS’s mother, Madam Seriya Raji was.kidnapped from her home in Nagazi area of Okene at about 8.00pm on Monday.

A close neighbour, whomescaped from the scene narrated that gunmen disguised in black suits passed through the mosque and entered into her room before whisking her away.

Kogi State Police Command was yet to issue a statement as at the time of filing this report.

A source who spoke with our correspondent in Lokoja also said, the Chief of Staff, Mr. Jamiu Asuku was saddened by the development and wasn’t ready to speak on the matter for now.
