Bandits intensifies attack, abducts Chief Imam during Juma’at prayer in Sokoto
A popular Chief Imam, Aminu Garba has been kidnapped while preparing to lead Juma’at prayer in Sokoto on Friday.
He was kidnapped along 10 other worshippers in fresh attack.

The Imam reports said was preparing to lead Juma’at congregational prayer at Gatawa village in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, when bandits swooped on them with sophisticated weapons.
Sabon Birni Local Government Council has been a hotbed of bandits operations.
