Chelsea have agreed a £52 million deal with Arsenal for the signing of star striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and it looks certain that he is headed to Chelsea next season with Aubameyang discussing personal terms with the Blues before he says his final goodbyes to his Arsenal fans.

The 30-year-old’s contract is supposed to expire with Arsenal in 2021 and he had rejected two proposals from Arsenal over an extension. Aubameyang last played Champions League football in 2017 and the Gunners seemed unlikely to qualify in the top four this term.

Lampard joined Chelsea under full knowledge that he would be operating under a transfer ban last summer and the Blues failed to make a signing in January once it was lifted.

Ajax star Hakim Ziyech is set to join in the summer and Lampard will be given significant funds to invest in other areas of the side. He is keen on signing a world class centre forward and believes that Aubameyang possesses all the necessary qualities to play at Stamford Bridge. Crucially, it looks like Chelsea will be able to offer the Gabon star Champions League football.

Frank Lampard who had always had plans for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and is set to see how this works out when the deal is finalized and the league resume, next season, luckily for Lampard, Giroud has played a back-up role to Tammy Abraham this season and he was expected to move on when his contract expires in the summer. However, the 33-year-old is set to pen a one-year extension at Stamford Bridge.

That has left many supporters happy with the decision to sign £52m Aubameyang for more firepower.

The 30-year-old is also just two goals behind Leicester’s Jamie Vardy in this year’s standings and still in spectacular form the type of striker the blues need to regain contention for the English Premier League, title , watch this space for more updates on details of his Chelsea contract and also drop your comments below if you feel Aubemayang will fit in well at Chelsea.
