The Young Progressive Party, YPP in Nasarawa State has said on Sunday that what’s happening in the State was collosal failure of governance by governor Abdullahi Sule.
The State YPP Party Chairman, Hon. Bishop Mathew, while rating the Abdullahi Sule-led governance low in an interview with journalists in Lafia on Sunday reminded the governor that he did promise Nasarawa people in his electioneering campaign that he would industrialize the State, but failed woefully to set up many.
The party Chairman further lamented that there’s infrastructure in place despite huge funds accrued to the State since 2019,. stressing that Nasarawa people are waiting for his excuse in the next general election.
He slammed some politicians and prominent persons in the State for their silence despite Abdullahi Sule’s governance fatality, wondering if the citizens were not ready to change government in 2023.
In the alternative, Bishop Mathew noted that Young Progressive Party is a party that would change the narrative of Nasarawa State if given a chance rule.
”As a party chairman we are calling on Nasarawa people to support YPP in the next 2023 general election because together we can change the political narrative of Nasarawa State if you come and I come to do it together.
”Where is the industrialization the governor promised during his campaign in 2019, let him come out and show the people of Nasarawa State any infrastructure he has executed in Nasarawa State.
Hon. Bishop Mathew, however said that for Nasarawa State to experience another development, the people should reject Abdullahi Sule in 2023 general election.
