Amid security challenges, Niger governor’s road infrastructure supercedes his predecessors in office – Aide
The present administration of governor Abubakar Sani Bello in Niger State, has superceded his predecessors in road constructions and the provision of social amenities that has direct bearings on the citizens within the last six years, the Director General on Communications and Strategies to the governor, Abdulbagy Usman Ebbo has said.
He said that governor Abubakar Sani Bello was able to construct over 250 kilometer of roads across the three geopolitical zones of the State within the period of six years of his administration stating that he has equally transformed some rural communities with the needed amenities that has direct impact on their lives.
Abdulbagy Usman Ebbo who stated this in a phone in program of a Minna based radio, the prestige FM monitored by CAPITAL POST in Minna explained that no previous administration can compete with the present administration in the State.
According to the DG, the governor was committed to better the lot of his electorate with the provision of the social amenities that would improve their wellbeing which informed his commitment to embark on rural transformation, stressing that more of such transformations would be seen across the State before the expiration of his tenure in 2023.
He admonished who ever would succeed him to add from where he stopped to be able to see the aggressive transformations of Niger State that would be a proud of all Nigerlites.
He pointed out that the Abubakar Sani Bello led administration was committed to make Niger State a viable investment haven through the establishment of Bobi Grazing Reserve in Mariga Local Government, disclosing that already the maker of peak milk have commence the production of diary milk in the Grazing Reserve in commercial quantity.
He further disclosed that Niger State as an agrigarian state, the Dangote Group of Companies has established a multi billion Naira Rice Processing factory in Wushishi Local Government, this according to the Director General would boost the socio economic development of the State and create job opportunity to the teaming unemployed youths in State.
Speaking further, Abdulbagy Ebbo reiterated the governor’s commitment to leave an administration that would be remembered for his efforts in bringing development closer to the citizens through his people oriented programnes that has improved the wellbeings of the people within the lean resources available to the state, assuring that the governor would continue to embark on people oriented programmes in the next phase of his rural transformation plans.
He appealed to the people of the State to continue to support the administration with prayers to enable him deliver his mandate on the electorate who gave him their mandate during his electioneering campaign in 2015.
While commending the people of the state for their resilience and support to the administration, the Director General urged them to make an objective criticism of the administration that would spur the governor to improve in his shortcomings in the course of his piloting the ship of his administration.
“No body is perfect except Almigthy Allah. we as people cannot claim to be perfect in our day-to-day dealings. I therefore request from the good people of Niger State particularly our brothers from the other side, to please draw our attention to those areas you notice any short comings of our administration in an objective manner, so that we can as quickly as possible take correction.
“Niger State belong to all of us, so, I then passionately appeal to the people of the State to criticize us objectively for us to take correction”. he asserted
