Banditry: Three States Senator Shehu Sani feared most, asked not publicize his appearance for conferences
Civil Rights activist and former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani has named three States in Nigeria’s North West that he should be spare of publicity if he is invited as guest for conferences.
He appealed to organisers of conferences in Zamfara, Sokoto and Katsina not to publicise his appearances until he has attended the conference and back home in Kaduna.
The Senator wrote on his Facebook page in humourous announcement to organisers of conferences in the.aforementioned States, saying he’s not Sheikh Gumi.
Nigerians on Facebook have reacted to Sani’s announcement, hilariously letting him know that he would be invited for events.
His post is however at the backdrop of banditry activities in Zamfara, Katsina and Sokoto which he wrote on Saturday.

Shehu Sani has warned against publicing his appearance to conferences.
In a post shared on his Facebook page, the Kaduna State-born politician said until he delivers a lecture and is safely back in his base in Kaduna, organisers should not make his coming public.
According to Sani, he is Sheikh Comrade Kamgharida Algwagwarmawy and not his elder Sheikh Gumi.
He said:
“Announcement: Those of you inviting me to conferences in Zamfara, Katsina and my city Sokoto, don’t just publicize it until we come, deliver lecture and leave safely back to my base in Kaduna. I’m Sheikh Comrade Kamgharida Algwagwarmawy and not my elder Sheikh Gumi pls.”
