Breaking: UniAbuja abducted staff rescued, suspects arrested

Abducted staff of the University of Abuja have been rescued, according to the
Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command.

Staff quarters of the University of Abuja was stormed by bandits at about 12.14am on Tuesday and abducted seven members of staff.

Change of Name

The Police Public Relations Officer Josephine Adeh, announced that a joint operation was carried out that led to the rescue of victims.

The PPRO in a statement announcing the rescue of the victims reads; “The FCT Police Command wishes to inform members of the public that all abducted victims of the university of Abuja were rescued and reunited with their families through a joint operation with other security agencies.”
