PDP Zoning: North Central hails Committee for zoning Chairmanship
The leadership of People’s Democratic Party PDP, North central zone had thrown its weigh behind decision of the national level of the party for zoning Chairmanship seat to the zone.
This was contained in a statement signed by the North Central spokesperson of the party, Mrs. Patricia Nghargbu, a copy of which was made available to CAPITAL POST, saying the decision is a welcome development by PDP national body and zoning committee for choosing the zone to led the party.
“This idea we are optimistic that any state in the zone is competent and cable of producing the next chairmanship who will drive the party vision, mission and focus in quest to salvage the country from present clutches of direction in governance.
The statement said this has proved that it is always in sync with sentiments that will reverberate across all segments of the country, adding that they would do everything within its powers to restore the missing glory of those nation.
“We will not only ensure the survival of Nigeria but thrives in peace, harmony and national cohesion, development focused where everyone is capable above all contributing to its growth.
According to the statement, the north central leadership of PDP passed vote of confidence on Chairman Board of Trustees, Senator Walid Jibrin and his entire team for the job well done to achieve peaceful co-existence among party members.

“We also use this opportunity to call on former Senate President, Senator David Mark to rise and contest for the position of National Chairman of the party, just as they implore all right thinking members to support him as a stabilizer and nationalist who has been tested and trusted. They statement further explained.
“North Central is blessed with numerous men and women of proven integrity who possess all the quality to lead PDP.”
