Nasarawa LG election: We worked hard to attain victory – APC Chairman
The Nasarawa State Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Dr. John D. W. Mamman has insisted that the victory of the party at the just concluded local government elections was as a result of their hard work.
He commended party members for continuing to have confidence in the State leadership and sue for more support.
“Together we worked tirelessly by going out as a team to campaign above other parties who were just sitting down in the comfort of their various homes, adding that, APC touched all nooks and crannies of the state and solicited for support not only from its members but, from all citizens of the state who at the end saw reason and elected our candidates.
The APC boss in Nasarawa appreciated people of the state for given them their mandate at the end of the election.
“They spoke through ballots and this demonstrated the trust they have on APC and leadership style of Governor Abdullahi Sule led administration within a short period of being in office. He stated.
Dr. Mamman who did not hide his excitement with his party victory after the council elections said the APC, is a party to beat, party people recount with, party they cherished, party they supported in its entirety, its policies and programmes. He thanked them for show of love as well as their support during and after the exercise.
“I want to use this medium to appeal to people of the state to continue to give the necessary support and backing so that together while can achieve greatness.
He attributed All Progressiveas Congress, APC, victory at the polls to Governor Abdullahi Sule as a leader of the party in the state who has shown capacity to govern the state in fairness and equity and in the fear of God in all his dealings.
“He provided a conducive environment for us as party leaders and we tryied to follow suit in fairness in running the affairs of the party . He confirmed.
“What will interest you to know is that we did as much as we can not to interfere in selection process of candidates.
Our leadership ensure that there was peace even at flash points in some Local Government Councils.
