Reports reaching CAPITAL POST indicated 5 out of the remaining 9 Bethel Baptist School, Kaduna students who have been in captivity for the past 3 months have been released.
President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Israel Adelani Akanji confirmed that the last batch of students including the school Matron were released late Friday by the bandits.
Akanji said: “Glory be to God. Five of our Bethel Baptist High School students and the Matron (Making 6) have just been released to us this evening, October 8.
“We thank God and trust that the remaining four students will also be released. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
