Breaking: IPOB members looking for Joe Igbokwe to behead finally set his house ablaze
A Frontline member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Joe Igbokwe’s house in Nnewi was set on fire by men suspected to be members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)
The house was set ablaze on Sunday afternoon.
Igbokwe has been critical about activities of IPOB, a proscribed group in Nigeria.
Igbokwe personally told journalists how IPOB members’ footage was captured on CCTV offloading Jerry cans full of inflammatory substance which was used in setting his house ablaze.
“IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now. Iam sure they raised down my house giving the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV. To God be the glory . Iam still alive. My Study is my greatest regret,” Igbokwe wrote on his known Facebook page.
He said IPOB members finally made it by doing their worst on Sunday, having been for him to behead him on orders of Nnamdi Kanu.
According to him, Kanu has ordered his men to fish him out and behead whenever he’s found because of his criticisms of their activities.
