Independence: Kogi CP, Dabban assures of adequate security
The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Idrisu Dauda Dabban, has assured the good people of Kogi State of maximum security as citizens marks the 61st Independence Anniversary of Nigeria on Friday, 1st October, 2021.
The CP stated that the Command in synergy with all the Security agencies in the State adopts adequate security measures to protect Kogites, ensure a crime free anniversary and beyond.
In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP William Ovye Aya and made available to CAPITAL the said, the Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Tactical and Operational Commanders have been mandated to ensure high visibility and confidence boosting patrols around the major highways and other places of public resort to prevent any infiltration by hostile elements.
The CP use this medium to warn would be trouble makers to desist from any act capable of disrupting the existing peace the State is enjoying.
The CP called on citizens to go about their lawful activities and report any suspicious movement or objects to the nearest security agents to enable prompt response. He further enjoined the Kogites to continue to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies in fighting crimes and criminality in the State.
