2023 Presidency: Group speaks for Osinbajo in Nasarawa

Ahead of 2023 general election, a group, ‘Progressives Consolidation Group’ led by Dr Aliyu Kurfi has told governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was their preferred choice.

Dr. Kurfi stated this when he led the group members on a courtesy call to the Governor in Lafia.

He told Sule that they were in Lafia to talk about succession which they said was a serious issue, saying that they were engineered on their own volition to reveal Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as their preferred candidate.

Kurfi said Osinbajo holds no baggages that would inhibit his chances as they have personally gone through the various records of activities, life history and of course, the trends of events in politics and have seen an association to work towards the promotion of Osinbajo’s candidacy.

“We made this decision because we believe with all honesty that we have a professional gentleman and if given the opportunity, he will not only continue the good work of Mr President but will make Nigeria a better place for all of us.”

“If the Vice President chooses to contest the 2023 Presidential election, then you have nothing to worry about because he is a sellable candidate for the party whose antecedent as an astute politician speaks volumes.”
