2023 presidential poll: North Central group throws weight behind Yahaya Bello
Ahead of 2023 Presidential poll, Youths under aegis of North Central Project Initiative (NCPI) drummed support for Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello of Kogi State to join presidential race.
The group made their opinion known after a meeting in Lafia, where they called on the governor to contest for presidency without delay.
They argued that Alhaji Yahaya Bello is young and has capacity to be a good president to move the nation forward.
The Coordinator, Comrade Sani Ade Noiis while briefing journalists at the end of their meeting held at Sandaji Chalet Lafia, claimed that Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello was proving his mettle in Kogi State.
“As youth ambassador he did not disappoint us therefore, it’s high time for us in North Central to come together to support him in higher responsibilities of governance which is nothing less than President of this country.He reiterated.
Comrade Ade Noiis who used the medium to commend former Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babanguida for advising old politicians to step aside for the younger ones to man the affairs of governance for better performance.”
Responding to questions from journalists whether it is a sponsored group aimed at canvassing support for Governor Bello to contest the presidency, Comarade Noiis denied.
The meeting draws its representatives from, Benue, Kwara, Plateau, Niger, Kogi and Nasarawa States.
